Pre-K Program

Why choose us for Pre-K?

Our Pre-K classrooms put a special emphasis on learning new information. The day’s structure is set around encouraging your children to use their critical thinking skills through developmentally appropriate activities. Literacy is introduced by our Language Arts program, designed to emphasize a phonetic approach to reading and writing by the use of modern-day technology such as iPads and Smart Boards. Here, your kids will learn about words, spelling, sentence structure; as well as grammar. In addition to helping them refine their communication skills, our Language Arts Program will equip your little ones with the tools they need to take their next steps in Kindergarten.
What Are We Teaching

Skills that Children Will Learn

Emotional Development

Learning to recognize your own feelings as well as the feelings of others is a very important part of the emotional development of your child. Knowing how to understand what you feel helps with building the correct responses to your emotions. Furthermore, recognizing your own feelings helps build good social connections with those around you.

Social Skills

Our friendly staff will encourage your little ones to socialize while at the same time building language skills and also self control. This will build the foundation for your kids’ social skills while supplementing their education. When your kids practice what they learn with each other, such as language, they reinforce the knowledge taken in.

Early Literacy Development

Learning how to read and write early on can be a huge help in your child’s future success. Understanding simple words and writing out familiar words like your name can aid in fast tracking development. This can allow your child to confidently progress to higher classes as time passes.
Our Schedule

Inside an Infant’s Day

This schedule is meant to give you an idea of your child’s day. Actual times and activities may vary depending on the time of the year, weather, age and temperament of the children. Throughout each day we practice grasping, reaching, rolling, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, throwing, catching, kicking, cooing and talking: to enhance whichever developmental state your child happens to be in. For infants that require additional naps throughout the day, naps are arranged for them to accommodate their needs.
